With a commitment to data security, PTS Advisory use Smart Vault as our primary app for filing and storing client data and documents.  The advantages of using Smart Vault include :

  • Easy access to files anywhere, anytime
  • eSignature – documents signed in a single step with built-in eSignature powered by DocuSign

An invitation as a Guest or Client User allows our clients to have direct access to all files shared with PTS Advisory.  This ensures you can only access your own files, and not those of other clients.

Upon Receiving your invitation, you must activate your account to access Smart Vault.

Activating your Guest or Client User Account

1. Open your activation email from SmartVault.

2. Click SmartVault Activation Link.

3. Enter your phone number and password.

Note: The rest of your information is already entered by default.

4. Click Create My User.

Signing In to SmartVault as a Guest or Client User

1. Go to my.smartvault.com.

2. Enter your email address and password you used to activate your guest account.

3. Click Sign In.

Uploading Files

1. Go to my.smartvault.com.

2. Log in to your SmartVault account and navigate to the folder where you would like to upload your files.

3. Click browse to browse for the file you would like to upload, or drag and drop it from the source folder into the window in SmartVault.

Downloading Files

1. Go to my.smartvault.com.

2. Log in to your SmartVault account and navigate to the folder where you would like to download your files.

3. Tick the check box to the left of the filename of the file you would like to download.

4. Click on the download icon to the right of the file name, and download to your computer.

Client Users Access to SmartVault

Client User access enables you to download the SmartVault app to your desktop and create a live link for your file between the online app and your desktop.
